Corporate and Business Law
Corporates and mid-size companies are faced with a flood of laws and regulations that often require legal support in order to be correctly implemented and applied thereafter.
We advise entrepreneurs and managers in their choice of legal form, the foundation as well as the organisation of the legal structure of their operation. We provide support for all areas of business activity including the drafting of contracts, intellectual property rights, competition and antitrust law, public commercial law and dealings with the authorities. We are experienced in restructuring (e.g. the introduction of a holding structure, mergers&acquisitions) spin off and splits in the establishment of efficient and sound management structures, company acquisitions and company succession by selling or inheriting the company.
Some of our partners also have further qualifications/education in business management. We are therefore in a position to provide comprehensive advice to our clients at the interface between strategy and law. Individual partners also have many years of experience as in-house legal Counsels and, apart from providing advice on individual issues, are also available to support projects and function as external legal service.
We advise our clients on both national and cross-border legal issues. In the latter case, we have a network of communicating lawyers that we can draw on.
Our partners have relevant experience in corporate law | business law | contract law | antitrust and competition law | ICT | labour law | commercial criminal law | as well as debt enforcement and bankruptcy law.
