
Ilayda Baris
B.A. HSG in Law and Economics, Legal intern
Ilayda Baris supports our attorneys in a variety of legal fields, in particular corporate governance, corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, private equity and contract law.
Ilayda Baris received her bachelor’s degree in Law and Economics from the University of St.Gallen, where she will also complete her master’s programme in Law. Her broad education has equipped her with legal and economic expertise that enables her to approach legal matters in an interdisciplinary manner and to identify opportunities and recognize limitations.
Before joining Binder Rechtsanwälte, Ilayda Baris completed a one-year internship as a legal trainee in the Tax & Legal department of Deloitte AG in Zurich. During her time, she mainly focused on corporate law matters of international companies.
During her studies, Ilayda Baris co-founded and co-managed the Law Clinic, a student association at the University of St.Gallen that offers free legal advice. The Law Clinic at the University of St.Gallen has over 50 members today and has initiated the launch of law clinics at other Swiss universities.
In her private life, Ilayda Baris is an enthusiastic ballet dancer who began her classical ballet training at the age of five. She is also a big fan of the Allmen crime novels by Martin Suter.
