Bruno Heynen advises companies, entrepreneurs, members of boards of directors and executive management, shareholders and investors in the areas of corporate governance, company law, contract law, private equity and venture capital.
Bruno Heynen studied at the University of St.Gallen (lic. iur. HSG, 1986) and the London School of Economics (LL.M. with specialisation in International Business Law, 1995).
With many years of experience as attorney-at-law in a large Zurich-based law firm and as a lawyer, secretary to the board of directors and secretary to the executive management of multinational companies, Bruno Heynen has extensive experience in business law, particularly in the areas of corporate governance, company law, capital market regulation, contract law, private equity and venture capital.
In addition to his work at Binder Rechtsanwälte, Bruno Heynen serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the Corporate Governance Competence Centre at the Institute for International Management and Diversity Management of the University of St.Gallen. From 2020 to 2025, he was the Co-Director of the European Council on Corporate Governance of the Conference Board.
Bruno Heynen is married and the father of three adult children. He is a tennis and skiing enthusiast and enjoys travelling with his wife.
